Volunteer Opportunities

Whether or not you are able to provide a cash donation, please consider helping as a SAFE volunteer. We need help with:

Fundraising - would you be willing to:

• Chair a single event - big or small, every little bit helps?
• Help organize or help staff a car wash in the summer?
• Help with a pancake breakfast? Or spaghetti dinner?
• Have you or an organization you're involved with held a successful fundraiser or do you have a good idea for one?
• Does your community hold and annual event that we should attend?

Meet 'n Greet - attend local events/ man information tables to spread the word about SAFE - distribute flyers, etc. (Initiation required)

Brochure distribution and mailings- place SAFE information with Safety Plans in veterinary offices, grocery stores, libraries, etc. assist with mailings large and small

Foster homes - help foster a SAFE animal

Transportation for pets - help transport pets to and from homes, veterinary offices, the Cleveland Animal Protective League, etc.

Solicit donations of funds, services and/or supplies - does your company sponsor community organizations? Are you good at writing letters? Supplies are always needed to carry out the work of SAFE. Office supplies, pet supplies (we have specific needs), veterinary services and many other things are needed to carry out our mission.
